Chosen Generation Youth Choir: 

​

Chosen Generation Youth Choir is to help the congregation see and hear God through its music. Chosen Generation Youth Choir will strive to grow spiritually as they joyfully sing for the Lord. Chosen Generation Youth Choir members consist of youth ages 3-17. Rehearsals are held on the Wednesday leading up to the first Sunday of each month. Each rehearsal will be proceeded by a short devotional, consisting of a prayer.

 

Boys 2 Christ:

 

Boys 2 Christ consist of young men who are excited about worshipping God through the act of miming.  We don’t dance .. We don’t perform… We worship!!  Miming is the act of telling a story through emotion of movement using no words but expressions. We seek to exalt God through this ministry using the knowledge obtained through Youth ministry here at GTLMBC.  We are here to reach and seek out souls and teach others about the goodness of God.

 

Puppets for Christ:

Puppets for Christ ministry is a group of youth dedicated to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ using stories and songs through the art of puppetry. The Puppets for Christ ministry encourage youth to build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to use their gifts, talents and skills to glorify God through puppeteer.

Total Development:

 

The aim of Total Development at Greater True Light Missionary Baptist Church is to support and encourage our youth in establishing their educational goals. Throughout the year we facilitate participation in various educational and professional development events. Additionally, we host an annual “College Road Trip'' during Spring Break where the youth are afforded the chance to visit multiple colleges across the nation. These activities are monumental in providing exposure to the various opportunities available after completing their primary education requirements. Furthermore,

we strive to equip our own with the support needed to meet, and often exceed, their goals. This

includes academic advising, tutoring, and community service offerings geared towards enhancing the holistic view in which they will be measured throughout their future endeavors.

Trinity’s Dance Team Ministry:

 

Trinity’s Dance Team Ministry is designed to bring honor and glory to God through movement and interpretive expression. Psalms 149:3 says, “Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.” Ahead of each performance, the girls along with our leaders work together to ensure our music and movement are instrumental in ushering in God’s presence in our Worship experience.
